Mumbi Ngugi Managing Trustee Albinism Foundation of East Africa Mumbi Ngugi is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya engaged in private practice in Nairobi. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Law from the University of Nairobi and a Master of Laws Degree from the London School of Economics University of London. Mumbi has been a prolific writer and educator on issues of human rights, particularly the rights of women and children and has written for various newspapers and magazines including the Sunday Nation, the Standard, and Eve Magazine. She was the Editor of The Lawyer Magazine, and has been the lead researcher and compiler of the Kenya Human Rights Commission Biannual Human Rights Report since 2006.
Since 2007, Mumbi has been deeply involved in raising awareness about albinism and the various challenges that people born with albinism confront in their daily lives.
