Dr. John Kabutha Mugo is a specialist in the area of education of children with behaviour disorders and social maladjustment, and currently works as Lecturer in the Department of Special Education at Kenyatta University. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Hanover (Germany). Besides, Mugo works as consultant in areas of education and development research. Through his competencies, Mugo has won numerous research awards and scholarships. Besides research and teaching, Mugo has a wealth of experience in leadership and management of institutions. He heads and belongs to several other boards in Kenya and in other regional and global institutions.
