- AFEA’s main challenge would be lack of a physical office and adequate funding to cater for some of the major activities we would want to accomplish.
- Heightening the level of expectation amongst PWA is also a major problem where a kind of dependency syndrome develops in some them.
- In the short period AFEA has been existence we have not been able to reach all PWA especially in the interior areas of the country.
- Another challenge is lack of baseline information on the number of PWA in the country and lack of any data pertaining to albinism in Kenya.
- Inadequate support and action addressing issues of albinism in the public sector.
- Conflicts among people with albinism on some of the definitions and terms used on or about them.
